This paper proposes an FRP structural system using adhesive joints. FRP is a very light material, and its high specific strength and high specific rigidity make it especially applicable for spatial structures. In the proposed system, in jointing members, they are arranged alternately and adhesive is applied. In order to confirm the applicability of the proposed system and its structural characteristics when applied to spatial structures, an arch model with 8 m span was manufactured in a factory and assembled at an experimental site, and a structural test was executed on it. The test results showed that the distribution of vertical deformations of the arch span was almost equal to analytical results considering reinforcing elements. Furthermore, because the model was tested for snow and wind design load, it was confirmed to be applicable to real projects. However, to realize real structures, it is necessary to improve the assembly and jointing method.
