Abstract
The active vibration control of arch structures is studied for the purpose of reducing the seismic response. This paper deals with a control method that uses acceleration feedback with a Kalman filter in order to improve the control effects. To confirm the control effects of the active vibration control using accelerometers, active vibration control tests are performed. As a result, this control method can make the reductions in the response displacement and acceleration compatible.
