Aims and Scope of the Journal of the IASS
The Association publishes an international journal, the Journal of the IASS, thrice yearly, in print (ISSN 1028-365X) and on-line (ISSN 1996-9015). The months of publication are April, August and December. Occasional extra electronic-only issues are included in the on-line version.
The Journal of the IASS welcomes contributions pertaining to the design, analysis, construction, and other aspects of the technology of all types of shell and spatial structures. Papers describing realizations of noteworthy projects are particularly solicited. All technical papers as well as those describing projects are open to written discussion, which will be published possibly together with a response from the author(s). All material submitted for publication shall be evaluated as to editorial and technical content by a rigorous peer reveiw process that enlists member and non-members of the Editorial Committee. The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Committee, reserves the right to accept or reject any manuscript or discussion.
In addition, the Journal includes book reviews, reports of recent IASS Symposia and Colloquia, news of the Association, and announcements of upcoming events of the IASS and other organizations.
