Abstract
Spring-strut type membrane structures, in which a membrane is pushed up by struts with embedded springs, maintain stress on the membrane which does not allow stress relaxation. In the case of this structure using ETFE film with low spring stiffness, it is necessary to consider the dynamic response of the film's surface. In this paper, the authors focus on a horn-shaped membrane structure under strong winds. From wind tunnel tests, the wind pressure coefficient is provided under uniform flow and turbulence flow. In addition, static and dynamic response analyses using results obtained from wind tunnel tests are calculated.
