Abstract
Spatial structures have to be analyzed by considering geometric nonlinearity, and the nonlinear problem is very sensitive to initial conditions. The efficiency of a computer program depends on the possibility of convergence and the speed in nonlinear procedure. This study introduces NASS, short for Nonlinear Analysis for Spatial Structures - not a commercial nonlinear analysis program under development. NASS, the first of its kind, is being developed for both soft and hard structures to get nonlinear solutions and to target a general purpose computational program. Using examples NASS ability in both soft and hard structures is proved.
