Abstract
In this paper some tensioned structures recently built in China are firstly introduced. The research methods on wind-induced vibrations of structures are then overviewed. Three typical models are taken for studies, including a single membrane sheet, a cable net and a membrane roof. The CFD Numerical simulation, random vibration analysis and wind tunnel test methods are adopted. Their results on three typical models are compared and studied. Some dynamic vibration characteristics of the tensioned models are investigated.
