Abstract
A new-type cable-strut structure, named Annular Crossed Cable-truss Structure (ACCTS), is proposed. The ACCTS enables to overcome the shortages of the in-used Annular Open-web Cable-truss Structure (AOCTS) for lacking of progressive collapse resistance. In this paper, the formulas of node coordinates of the ACCTS in the pre-stress state are derived in Cylindrical Coordinate System. It is found that the node coordinates are determined by five geometric parameters, the number of nodes in outside ring, the number of ring segments spanned over by one plane cable-truss, the distance between central point O and node in outside ring, the rise height of ACCTS and the sag height of ACCTS. The work of this paper lays a foundation of further study on performance of the ACCTS in the initial state and loading state.
