Abstract
During the early phases of the development of reinforced concrete, it was necessary to create appropriate testing models and testing procedures for different tasks. The positive results of the experiments, which combined the obtained object empiricism with the control of the analyses, were often a requirement for the building permission and further to gain knowledge about the behaviour of the reinforced concrete structures.
