Abstract
This paper presents the structure scheme selection process of the large-spanning steel roof of Nanjing Lukou International Airport Terminal 2 and explains the wind tunnel test and some key structural analysis processes including elasto-plastic time history analysis under rare seismic, overall stability analysis of Y-shaped column, and progressive collapse analysis of the roof structure. It also illustrates the design and finite element analysis of several typical joints and finally, the erection method of the roof structure.
